Free easy home accounting software showing daily expenses? Hi. This is my story: For the last months I've been writing down the exact amount of money I've spent every single day, specifying what I spent the money in, and the week total. It might sound a bit stingy but I really need to do this. Anyway, I decided I'd like to do this on my laptop instead of having messy sheets of paper. So I found a free program called HomeBank. It works fine to see the money I have and how it decreases (or increases), or even some nice statistics. BUT there's something I don't know how to do, and it's the most important thing. That is, like in the messy papers, viewing the amount I spent/earned EACH day and what I spent it in. So I'd need like a calendar showing the amount for each day. Maybe this could be done on HomeBank but I don't know how to. So could you please recomment another program that can do this? Excuse my English and Thank you. I don't have a business at all, so I don't need a business accounting program. I just want something simple to keep track of simple things like... how much I spent on shopping last monday... how much I spent on beers last night.. how much I got from busking today..etc.

Diary/calendar and accounting software all in one? I am freelance and work all over the place. I have recently started using an online calendar to help my family keep track of what i'm doing. It occurred to me that it would be great to be able to enter what i'm earning from each job and for it to automatically generate what i'm earning. At the moment I enter what i've earnt into an excel spreadsheet and its a real pain. Does anyone know of any software that can make my life easier and is preferably free? Thanks. I've been doing a bit of research andiIdeally I'd like to have a calendar view as my 'homepage' and from there click on a day to add in a job and also enter the money I'm getting for that job and who I'm doing it for. I have found a program called piggybob which has a great layout to it with basic income and expenses and calendar function but it has no contacts. But this is the sort of thing I'm after. The functions I would like are as follows: - Something that can do basic accounts,( I just need income and expenses and the ability to set several categories within these) as I am never likely to go over the threshold for VAT! - View by calendar format with the ability to see what job is booked in for that day and for others to easily view without having to go into the program as such - Somewhere I can keep my work contacts and ideally link them to jobs which I put into the calendar Does software like this exist??? PS - I don't need anything that tracks time as I work by getting paid per job not per hour. I'd also like something that can export as a .csv file.

Is it better to do your own Accounting? I saw on tv software that makes doing your own account easy, but is it better to do your own accounting or letting someone else do your accounting for you? Easy to use software for CSS/HTML web site design? I've been struggling to find the perfect site that I can blog creatively while sticking in other information. I've played with DeadJournal, looked at LiveJournal, and my latest being FreeWebs looking for an easy way to manipulate the layout so that I can severely personalize it with my own photos etc. I've had no luck. I'm looking for something like that of MySpace's layout generators but for these other sites. I have brief exposure to MySpace's html editing but nothing hardcore enough that I could design coding all on my own. I have been looking around for software or something on the web that would the same like some of the generators for MySpace out there but all I keep finding is the need to know how to code on my own. I'd like to use my FreeWeb account at the moment for this purpose and if anyone has any ideas or knowledge about what I should do, PLEASE let me know.
