What is the best Accounting Software for easy consolidation?

We have 5 corporations with numerous transactions between each as well as with 3rd parties. We currently only consolidate on an annual basis but we will be required to do so on a monthly basis beginning January, 2007.

1. There's no easy ERP software (Oracle, JD Edwards, etc), but if you're just looking for reporting consolidation, my organization uses Hyperion for monthly consolidation of 20+ subsidiaries.
